- is home to both retired laypersons (70%) and sisters (30%) in a 299-unit continuum of care setting
- offers a variety of living options and services: Independent Living, Assisted Living, Nursing, Memory Care and community outreach services
- is a spiritually enriched community offering regular religious services and welcoming all faiths
- serves approximately 750 people monthly from the broader community through outreach program "Connections" which began in 1997. Connections offers a variety of cultural and spiritual programs and events on and off campus
- features life-long learning opportunities through relationship with the University of the Incarnate Word
- is separately incorporated from UIW and other Incarnate Word ministries
- employs approximately 210 full and part time persons

- $18.5 million project. Seven-story 65 unit independent living addition with supportive services
- responding to the strong need and demand for housing and services in our community
- larger one and two bedroom apartments to meet individual preferences
- community center (CHRISTUS Heritage Hall) with multipurpose group meeting space
- additional common areas, wellness center and outdoor dining
- increased bistro-style dining options for residents and guests at Krieger Bistro
- landscape and outdoor courtyard improvements
- expanded life-enriching outreach programs to the wider community
